The " BISTRA" Hotel is placed at the foot of the Bistra mountain, close to the Mavrovo lake and the three chair lifts, leading to

Galicnik, Which is only five hours walk from The Hotel across wonderful hill
sides or by a motor vehicle along the 17 km. asphalt road.
Every year , in the middle of July, the village of
Galicnik organizes the traditional " Wedding in Galicnik". It is a rare
opportunity to see the beautiful national costumes, household furniture,
customs, unique architecture of the old house, feel the folklore and hear folk
music and national dances.

You also have the opportunity to visit the Monasrery
of " St. Jovan Bigorski", 24 km away from our Hotel, connected with asphalt
road. It is the greatest cultural monument in this region.
